Hello Everybody! I'm Luke! I'm a black and tan Bassett Hound and am almost 2 years old. Mommy found me at (you'll never believe this) a flea market! She brought me home because Daddy had been wanting a dog like me for years and years. So I decided to be "Daddy's Boy". Can't tell from the picture, can you? Hyuck! Hyuck!
Here I am with a friend. Her name is Joyce and I think she liked me when she and her husband Bob, visited us. You'd kinda get the impression from this picture and the one before that I'm a couch potato. But don't be fooled. I love running and clowning around with Sable and Marco. And believe me, I take guarding my family VERY seriously!
Most people think that Bassett Hounds are good hunting dogs. But I don't think I'd like hunting very much. I enjoy getting petted a lot and just snuggling with my people.
