This Page is dedicated as a Memorial to my Father, Thomas C. Poole, who went to be with the Lord on

Daddy, you will never be forgotten, but you are being sorely missed!  I Love You!

Letting Go

Some times are hard, and days are bad

On our journey to Heaven’s shore.

Sometimes we lose a Mom or Dad,

When they pass through that final door.

Sometimes we watch with breaking hearts,

And lose the only love we know.

It’s hard, sometimes, when worry starts...

Trusting in God, and letting go.

We search in vain for the reasons,

And look for answers that we won’t know.

God must appoint all the seasons,

And our peace comes in letting go.

When we let go, He holds so tight

That nothing takes His love away.

He’ll take the wrong, and make it right

...And turn our darkness into day.

Your time has come. You passed the test.

You did your share, and so much more!

I know the Lord will give you rest,

When angels lift you to that shore.

When we needed, you always gave,

And you fulfilled our every need.

Your courage taught us to be brave,

Your faith planted in us a seed.

Now, Dad, it’s time to say, “Good-bye”,

And I just wanted you to know…

Each time I look up in the sky,

Our love’s not what we’re letting go…

I Thank Glen and Ruth Ann from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful poem that they wrote especially for my father.  Their kindness and love during this difficult time for me are appreciated beyond words

In Memory

Somehow , somewhere

things were not right

and Daddy just had to

give up his fight

He seemed so peaceful

but so much more

as he greeted God

at Heaven's door

No longer in pain

he knows that we hurt

but told us don't worry

with us he'll still flirt

He told us to look

up to the night sky

the brightest star , is me

so don't cry

While we will sure miss him

we know in our hearts

That Daddy will always

be of our lives, a part .
